Scott and Sarah Sutherland
Scott Sutherland radically encountered God in a Virginia prison cell. After 16 years of addiction, he one day heard God speak to him towards the end of a 4 year sentence saying, “If everything doesn’t change, nothing will change.” That night he ended up on the floor of his bunk bed in an open cell, confessing his sins and telling the Lord, “If you can do better with my life, I will serve you.” A week later he encountered the power of the Holy Spirit in a prison revival service and his life has never been the same. From ministering in jails, churches, ministry schools, and more, Scott has a passion to see the church raised up in holiness and authority to be equipped to do the work of the ministry in the sphere God has placed them and abroad. Scott serves as the co-leader of Bride Made Ready Ministries along with his wife, Sarah.
Sarah Sutherland graduated from Lee University with a BA in Communication Studies. After graduating, she spent eight years in leadership with a ministry where she helped pioneer retreats/conferences for young adult ministry leaders in the state of Florida. Sarah then served as the House of Prayer Director at Heart of the Father Ministry and was an instructor at Maranatha School of Ministry in Lakeland, Florida. Since getting radically encountered by the Lord’s heart on a trip to Israel in 2015 and another trip to the Middle East shortly after, Sarah has taught on the subjects of Israel and the Middle East and Intercession in numerous ministry schools, conferences, high schools and churches for over a decade. She is the founder of Bride Made Ready Ministries, focused on preparing the bride for the coming days through understanding God’s eternal storyline, the role of Israel and the Middle East in it, and the part in which we play. She desires to see the church pray in agreement with God’s story and with authority by declaring Jesus’ kingdom and lordship in the earth to see wrong things made right.
